Hore Provodovem Opening Concert on YouTube

A recording of the Opening Concert of the 2014 Hore Provodovem Folklore Festival can be found on Leluja's YouTube channel.
The performance presents Slovácko Verbuňk, a male dance inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, a Rusyn wedding performed by folklore ensemble Viničiar from Sobrance (SK) and a Zálesí wedding by folklore ensemble Leluja.

5th Anniversary

This fall Leluja celebrates 5th anniversary.
For this occasion we have prepared a new musical and dramatic programme.
The plot follows the growing-up of Aněnka (Anna), her birth, childhood and maturing, and ends with her wedding - the moment when a girl becomes a woman.
The performance covers various old folk customs, songs and dances of luhačovské Zálesí.
The premiere of the performance is held in Provodov on 23rd November 2013.
Award for Leluja
6th May 2013
In April Leluja took part in a children folklore ensembles competition.
The first round took place in Valašské Kloubouky on 7th April. Leluja performed two shows. One of them, 'Mařena' (a reconstruction of a traditional folk custom - drowning of Morena), qualified in the regional round.
This round took place in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm on 27th April. It covered folk ensembles from all Moravian Wallachia. Leluja was chosen as a reserve ensemble for the national round. Moreover, we were given an award for 'The best performance of a traditional custom'.
